Super Smash Bros Brawl US Release Sunday!

Hey folks! I haven't posted on here for a while do to some un-foreseen circumstances. Now I am back in full swing and just in time for Super Smash Brothers Brawl coming out on Sunday March 9th! I'm hoping to get something going as far as a small tournament goes, just for fun, as most are. The rewards will be simple, I will either give you a gift of any virtual console game you want or just send you a card with 500 Wii points on it. Or a random gamecube game. Check back for more details. I will have something put together on Sunday at the latest. Until then in the comment section post your friend codes as you get them for the game so we can have more friends to play against on the WIFI channel on the Wii. In the mean time check out the intro video for the Japanese release of the game.

Ok, so the Madden 07 first tournie flopped. One comment, and you are planning on posting your score. Lets change it up a bit and try it again, what do you guys think? I'll repost some new rules some concrete stuff that we can all work from, and we'll give it another go around. SO check back on the day after Valentines day and we will have the new fresh rules posted!

Wario Smooth Moves for the Wii gets 9.1 rating!

Gamespot's Jeff Gerstmann just posted his review of Warios Smooth Moves for the Nintendo Wii, and it received a whooping 9.1! It looks like Nintendo is having no problems moving their large franchise titles over to their new system, and making them better than ever! It makes a old fan boy excited to see what will come of all the other franchises, Nintendo and non that will be coming out here in the near future for the Wii. Go and read his whole article here. It's well worth the read.

First Wiilympics event!

Ok, time for our first virtual event! Now that everyone has had their Nintnedo Wii for a while now and have gotten the ability to really figure out how to use the controls, we can all show off what we got! These will be basic at first and hopefully grow to be regional one on one tournaments within the year! First challenge is who can get the highest score in a game of Madden '07. Any team in any mode. The only thing that needs to be common is the quarters must be 10 min. Just drop a comment with a picture or screen shot of the high score! So lets see what everyones got. The winner will get 500 Wii points, and the winner will be announced Jan. 25.
